The Cadet Airborne Jump School is a week long course and is limited to Cadets 18 years and older. The first few days will include a ride in a private plane or helicopter to get acclimated to being 10,000 feet in the air.
After initial training at our base in Flemingsburg, Cadets will be deployed to our jump facility in Middletown, Ohio. The Cadet will go through a brief ground school where they will be familiarized with the basics of skydiving. They will then enter an aircraft and perform two to three tandem dives. Exiting the aircraft from 10000’ (feet) above the ground, they will free fall for approximately 50 seconds and then deploy their main parachute.
